About Me


Bryce Bassett is a native Kansan; raised in Wichita, Kansas. Graduated from Goddard High School and then from Sterling College in May of 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Technical Theatre. While at Sterling, he received a first place award , for his Chess the Musical lighting design, and awards of achievement in lighting for his designs for Chess the Musical and Oklahoma!, at the Region V KCACTF 2017 Festival.
Bryce graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film with a Master's Degree in Fine Arts with a major in Stage Design in 2017.
He recently served as the Director of Technical Arts at Midland University in Fremont, Nebraska from 2020-2021.
Bryce has worked as an all around theatre artist for theatre companies in Kansas, Nebraska, Washington D.C. and with touring productions.
During the Christmas season, Bryce is a professional Santa Claus and has a degree in SantaClausology. He has been a Santa for 13 years.
